Excited to share this to my readers and followers! Let's take a break from all the fashion, food, beauty and  travel talk, and let's gossip about insecurities. I am entirely sure that I am not the only person on earth who has been insecure with my armpits - actually I didn't care much about this before but when I strated my journey in the industry I am in today, I realized that I should always be prepared and be at my best as often as possible.

Lo and behold one of my fave brands on earth - Dove. One of the main reasons why I love this brand is its advocacy towards women, Dove's Original and Smooth deodorant speaks to let women turn kili-kili insecurities to confidently showing it off through the real care Dove deo gives. I've grown to love this brand and whether or not sponsored, this is something that I honestly recommend for you guys.

Raise your arms up, sisters! Haha #RealNotRetouched

Pampanga was definitely the place to be in last weekend, with SM Clark full of excited snack fans for Oishi Snacktacular 2019.

Those in the know look forward to this annual event as Oishi always makes sure to amp up its lineup of awesome games and activities each year. Guests on the lookout for something new weren't let down as a new exciting booth was unveiled. Called Fish for Chips, this booth challenged participants to literally fish for their favorite seafood-flavored Oishi snacks. Guests enjoyed filling the net bags with Fishda, Kirei, and Oishi’s newest shrimp snack, Shripon, which they were able to take home.

The much-awaited Snack Catcher remained a crowd favorite -- some fans even took their excitement up a notch, showing up in cute onesies for the booth! We spotted snack food lovers dressed up as a martial artist, a unicorn, and even an astronaut busting out their best moves to grab as many snacks as possible as they were lowered into a giant pool of Oishi snacks.

The Snack Shack was another popular booth, with guests lining up to fill their Oishi 2-foot Giant Pack with as many snacks as possible in one minute. Meanwhile, those looking to have a break after all these activities flocked to the O-Chill booth where they could choose from Smart C+ Lemon Squeeze + Yakult, Mais con Oaties or Hi Coffee Latte + Coffee Jelly -- truly refreshing with an O, Wow twist!

Guests also had the chance to bring home Snacktacular merchandise like cute Oishi friends plushies, cool t-shirts and comic-inspired tote bags at Oishi Snacktacular. More than just fun booth activities, Oishi Snacktacular made sure there was never a dull moment as there were also special performances each day. Crispy Patata endorser Alex Gonzaga wowed the crowd with her popular Chambe dance on Day 1 and toured the booths with host Sam Purvor.

Last Saturday, it was Youtube sensation and singer Janina Vela's turn to serenade the guests, while Donny Pangilinan's chill tunes proved to be the perfect accompaniment to the Sunday festivities. Not to be missed joining the fun were The Oishi friends Panya, Hippy, Pilyo, and Waifu, who are inspired by well-loved Oishi snacks.

All smiles, huge laughs, bags full of Oishi snacks -- truly, another memorable Snacktacular for everyone! Now, who's excited for next year?

I can't believe that the first month of this year is about to end. Just a month ago I copped my 2019 Starbucks Planner (for the first time) and challenged myself to keep in track of my everyday life until the end of the year; possibly not a challenge for some but, FYI, I've been trying to complete my journal for 2 years and I keep on failing, LOL. But so far, I'm proud to say that I'm doing pretty well!

Here are a few highlights of my 2019...

HIGHS:

  • Speaking of that planner, I've been pretty much on track with everything so far. Lots of inspirations and career plans are listed down so I shall keep an optimistic spirit all throughout!
  • I was able to buy my mom her washing machine! Honestly not expecting to afford it this soon, but it's one good investment. Love you mommy!
  • The dating life is going well. It's amazing to be with someone during your highs and lows, and in this case, he's probably part of everything on this list! It's crazy that I'm actually living that 'close friends turned into lovers' type of relationship, plus this is one of the healthiest things that happened in my life.
  • Learning to let go of the things I do not need. Some people usually think I have an excessively huge wardrobe, but my tiny space at home can never really fit one. Selling out a bunch of my so-so pieces to give way for the keepers. (I mean honestly speaking... there are lots of fast fashion clothes out on instagram shops and it's craaaazy! Again, go for the quality and not the quantity!)
LOWS:
  • Social media is still a bit of a torture. Currently trying to digest some ways to keep me out of that crippled norms online.
  • Surprisingly, I'm getting frustrated on getting healthier. Ever since the holidays, I've been consistently eating even when i\I'm not hungry! And going to the gym seems to be a bit of a chore for me. Really need to step-up!

Teaching myself with inhaling more positive energy this year! And I'm glad to be on my 80% best self on the first month!

Do yourself a favor and look onto your highs and lows during the previous days and weeks. Surprise yourself with the great things that happened within the first 31 days of this year!
