    • My Thoughts

Well technically (and obviously) none of them is Rudolf and neither a breed of raindeers but I was just filled with excitement that such a place exist in the Philippines!
A bunch of deers welcomed us at the Deer Farm in Bicol and I was both extremely happy and quite uncertain with the place because the entire area was literally a pool of deer poop! But nonetheless my eyes and heart were filled with so much joy to see and get close with these lovely creatures!

It is no question for me why ruffles are quite a cute ensemble for any outfit. Ever since I could remember, my eyes are all on everything ruffled.

Not more than two years ago, I met the beautiful and amazing local fashion designer Vee Tan to help me dress up for Blogger's Ball. Recently I found her new line (by Lo and Behold) consisting of laid-back, easy go-to pieces and of course - ruffles. As soon as I saw her Edinburgh (top) and Seville (bottoms) pair, I just knew I had to wear one.

From Edinburgh and Seville, comes two more ruffled faves - the off-shoulder Madrid...

....and the elegantly sleeved Florence.

Not everything comes in ruffles though, the Antwerp slip dress is also one of the classic pieces every woman must have, beyond perfect for a romantic date night, but for a more personal touch, I tried to make a twist of some sort and layer it on a velvet top and dope sneakers (someone commented on my Instagram post that this outfit looks kinda weird, but they like it. I feel the same way to but maybe weird is my fashion lol)

This won't be the last of my ruffled series. You may shop these outfits from by Lo and Behold via this link.

I got to taste two new flavors from Starbucks - the TEA-ramisu and Midnight Mocha Frappucciono

If you want to try matcha without tasting too much matcha, then Tea-ramisu is the drink for you. This drink is made of heaven; Rich green tea blended with mascarpone cheese, finished with a swirl of whipped cream and sprinkled with green tea cookie crumbles.
Can you just imagine all these blended in one drink? So good.

From that heavenly bliss of Tea-ramisu, the Midnight Mocha on the other hand is your edgy frappuccino that has a bit more powerful taste. The Starbucks Coffee is infused with black cocoa powder, with a blend of java chip and a mid layer of fluffy whipped cream, then topped with a dash of black cocoa powder.
I'd say this is a drink to power up your summer nights!

Both sounds and tastes undeniably great but my heart goes to Tea-ramisu - a drink that I'd finally replace with my usual Caramel Macchiato with whipped cream, haha!

Before I didn't really had a particular color that I would consider my favorite but now I call it Yellow

(Top) Celine | (Bottoms) Mango Trousers - Shop similar here

I guess it all started with this pair of trousers from Mango (bought in Zalora) which I got early this year. I remember I was heading to a meeting when I first wore it, and I wasn't pretty sure if this outfit suits with the 'meeting' agenda. Good to know that it wasn't a corporate nor a formal meeting since I was too smart casual as I paired it up with a turtle neck top and sneakers.

(Top and Skirt) Forever21

Few months after, my friends and I visited Cebu and one of its tourists spots, the Temple of Leah (blogged here). Looked it up on google and I thought it would be nice to wear something less casual and luckily saw this classy top in Forever21 which I immediately fell in love with.

(Top) 0917 Clothing - Shop here

And making its second appearance are my trousers topped with a layer of a classic button-down shirt and a casual tee from 0917 Clothing. I wanted to do something different with the tee than just wearing it with denims.

This outfit isn't smart for summer but I risked to mix-match it with a long sleeved turtle neck and a beaded oversized denim jacket.

Serenitea is now one decade and what better way to celebrate their 10th anniversary than creating my own Top 10 Serenitea milktea favorites!

10. Okinawa Espresso
(50% sugar; no sinkers)

The perfect drink for students and people who needs to get a boost-up on a busy sched! This is almost some sort of an iced coffee because of the espresso which definitely gave me that "wake up" boost every time I took a sip.

9. Choco Strawberry
 (50% sugar; no sinkers)

Chocolate and strawberry just sounds like the perfect valentine combination and it really is! This drink goes for those who wants to explore something new - if not yet mixed, you'll get a hint of the strong chocolate flavor, almost like a dark chocolate, topped with a creamy strawberry mixture. Mix both flavors together and viola, you got yourself a classic choco-strawberry!

8. Hongkong Milktea
(100% sugar; no sinkers)

If you're familiar with wintermelon (classic fave!) then this tastes like it but just imagine your wintermelon with a stronger tea taste. So don't hesitate adding a hundred percent sugar because it's just the right amount to complement the strongness of the tea, unless you like the intensity of tea.

7. Okinawa Milktea
(50% sugar, pudding)

This would be my must-buy "snack drink." If you're one of those people who's afraid to go wrong with beverages, then this is the drink to choose. Nothing beats the classic milk tea! Plus factor is the pudding which is one of my favorite sinkers.

6. Cocoa Cookies and Cream
(50% sugar, no sinkers)

Something for the sweet-toothed. Cocoa drink with cookies and cream ice cream... there's nothing much to explain here, I know you guys can already imagine the sweet taste! So don't bother adding some sinkers... the ice cream is more than enough to complete the drink *wink*

5. Taro Love
(50% sugar, pudding)

It's like a melted uber ice cream! I'm screaming for this drink, it reminds me so much of my childhood where I used to drink taro shakes.

4. Cranberry Black Tea
(25% sugar, nata and green tea jelly)

Perfect summer drink! I have never ordered anything in Serenitea something that's not 'milktea' and as for my first time for this drink, I can just say that I'd go back for a second cup. 25% sugar doesn't sound that sweet but it is just the perfect amount to give you that balanced fruity taste. And this drink also has cranberry pulps!

3. Green Apple Yakult
(Nata and Chia seeds)

This came off as a surprise for me knowing that I am not a fan of yakult-based drinks. I can say that this is not as maasim as the usual yakult teas you taste. It is just so refreshing and has a fruity taste plus the chia seeds which I personally love!Healthy thirst quencher!

2. Green Tea Slush
(75% sugar, no sinkers)

If I could give 2 slots for the first place on this list I'd definitely give this one a spot!  It was just love at first taste! It's quite hard to explain but it has this usual matcha taste but just a lot more malinamnam. It is really really absoltely tasty! I tried ordering another cup with 50% sugar but the taste is a lot different with more sugar so  I recommend 75% to 100% sugar to give you that ultimate burst of flavor.

1. Hokkaido Milktea
(50%, pearl and panna cotta)

Ending this list with the classic Hokkaido! I'm in love with this! The thing that I love about this drink is its lightness. Sometimes milkteas give us that umay feeling after drinking the entire cup but this one doesn't. It can be your summer thirst quencher or your everyday dessert drink and the panna cotta just makes this drink a lot yummier than it already is!

*It's my first time to try some drinks from this list, such as the Green Apple Yakult and Cranberry Black Tea, and I wouldn't have thought I'd love it! Surprise yourself too and  let me know your personal Serenitea favorite/s! ❤

Off to my third trip! Went on a five hour drive from Manila to Pangasinan to visit this new resort that went viral on Facebook!

Pangasinan is no stranger when it comes to beaches and here lies another beach resort for families and barkadas. The entire resort is tiny and quiet... and by tiny I mean, it has six cottages with two separate bedrooms each. No worries about wanting your own privacy because having a neighbor in the same cottage wont feel like you're sharing it with strangers!

The pool has just the right size and has five chairs floating on it while facing the tropical view of the beach. You'll also see mini kubos, a picnic-ish area with cute bean bags, and a space for some fun beach volleyball!

Don't hesitate to ask for a tour if you want to see the hundred islands! If you also want a more private beach area, you can ask some residents near by to take you in this walking distance secluded beach (no entrance fee of whatsoever) hidden just in the corner of the resort.
